...and welcome to Josselyn's blog extraordinaire! detailing her 5 week exploit in Paris. Exactly two weeks lie before my lofty journey via aviation. Guides and histories of Paris lie strewn about the house, an empty bag awaits packing, and a my head is reeling with an inescapable urge to begin la voyage. Until then, it's an anticipation riddled 14 days of lifeguarding, enjoying time with friends, and gearing up for the weeks to come in France.
I'm hoping this little bloggy here will allow friends and family (and the curious acquaintance) to observe my doings on a day-to-day basis, as communication opportunities to the land of opportunity will be limited once I arrive.
SO...
Present goals?
1. Expand fluency and comprehension...or at the very least trim down the AmEriCAN accent that plagues my French
2. Learn my French wines!
3. Consume many a crepe. As many different flavors/styles as I can get my hands on.
4. Go to a local concert or performance...the likes of which I have not previously heard of.
More of these to come, as my departure draws ever near.
